Public Relations Assistant

If you have previous experience in media outlets and have 5-10 hours to spare every week then this is the right position for you!
We are looking for a competent part-time remote Public Relations (PR) assistant to promote our corporate image through maintaining media relations, developing fresh story ideas and publishing them in media, assisting with the creation and implementation of public relations initiatives, and creating promotional content for PR purposes.
We expect to see candidates who can impress us with their copywriting and presentation skills. Throw a lot of enthusiasm and a pleasant personality into the mix and you’ll be our ideal candidate.
Write press releases, articles and other PR copy
Create, deliver, edit, and optimize PR materials
Assist in formulating PR plans and strategies
Ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with marketing strategies.
Enhance the company’s voice and presence through online and offline channels
Manage media relations and requests
Support the implementation of promotional plans
Present solutions in times of PR crisis
Lead survey initiatives and analyze public opinion
Provide support to public relations department
Research media coverage and industry trends
Develop fresh story ideas
Conduct extensive media outreach.

Proven experience as public relations specialist or similar position
Experience in journalism and media outlets
Experience in copywriting and editing
Working knowledge of MS Office
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in English
A creative yet practical mind
BSc/BA in PR, communications, journalism or relevant field
